A place is held once a deposit is paid, and confirmed once the balance is cleared before the course begins. The fee, the deposit, the start date and the schedule are stated to you in writing before you pay. Nothing is added afterwards — if a cost is not in that written figure, it is not owed.

Everything used in class is provided. You are not required to buy a kit from us, and we do not take a commission on any product we recommend.

If you need to move dates, tell us as early as you can and we will move you to the next batch where there is room. The cancellation and refund terms that apply to your course are given to you in writing at the point of enrolment, before any payment. If we cancel or postpone a course ourselves, you may move to the next batch or have your money back in full — your choice, not ours.

The certificate is issued by Neha Makeup Academy on completion of the course. It is our own certificate. We do not describe it as a government or international accreditation, because it is not one, and you should treat any academy that makes that claim without naming the awarding body and its registration with suspicion.

Completion means attending the course. If you miss sessions we will do what we reasonably can to catch you up, but a certificate is not issued for a course that was not attended.

There is no placement guarantee, no promise of employment and no income projection attached to any course here. What you get is teaching, practice on real faces, help building a portfolio, and honest guidance on pricing and taking bookings. What you earn afterwards depends on you.

Makeup is applied to skin, so tell us before a practical session about allergies, sensitivities, recent treatments or any skin condition. We will patch-test where it is sensible. Students work on each other and on models; anyone in the chair may decline any product or step at any point, without giving a reason.

A date is held by an advance, and the balance falls due as set out in your booking confirmation. Both figures are in that confirmation before you pay. Travel within Mumbai is included; outstation and destination work is quoted with travel and stay as separate lines.

A trial is strongly recommended and is charged separately unless your confirmation says otherwise. The running order for the wedding morning is agreed in advance; if the schedule slips on the day for reasons outside our control, we will do everything possible but cannot guarantee a finish time that was never achievable.

We photograph work in the studio and at weddings and may publish it, with your agreement — see the privacy page. You may withdraw that agreement at any time. Course material, handouts and the contents of this website remain ours; you are welcome to use everything you learn commercially, which is the entire point, but not to reproduce our written material as your own course.

Tell us first, and directly — most things are fixable in a conversation. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Indian consumer law. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have jurisdiction.

Payment is taken at the studio by cash, card or bank transfer. This website cannot take a payment — there is no checkout on it, so nothing here can charge you by accident, and anyone asking you to pay through a link that claims to be us should be checked against +91 90824 06711 first.
