Neha Makeup Academy

Best bridal makeup artist in Santacruz East · Mumbai

The whole week, run by one person.

Face, hair and drape from the haldi through to the reception. Six functions that progress rather than repeat, one running order, and nobody in your room at 5am asking where the pins are.

Across the week

Six functions, six different jobs.

The most common mistake in bridal makeup is one look repeated in six colourways. Each of these has its own light, its own duration and its own set of constraints.

  • Haldi

Built to survive turmeric, daylight and being handled. Deliberately light, and deliberately not the wedding look.

  • Mehndi

You will be sitting still for hours with your hands out of action, so everything is set to need nothing from you.

  • Sangeet

Stage lighting and a long night of dancing. Heavier, set harder, built to read from the back of a hall.

  • Engagement

Usually the most photographed close-up of the week. Skin first, everything else second.

  • Wedding morning

The 5am start. A fixed running order agreed in advance, so the family is never waiting on makeup.

  • Reception

The one look you get to choose freely, and often the most modern of the week.

Regional bridal

Maharashtrian, South Indian, and whatever your family actually does.

A nauvari and a nath sit differently from a Kanjivaram and a maang tikka, and both sit differently again from a lehenga with a dupatta pinned twice. The drape, the hair and the face are one decision.

What a booking includes

And what it costs.

Bridal is quoted per wedding, because a single reception and a six-function week are not the same job. You will get a figure, in writing, covering every function you have asked for — with travel stated separately rather than added later.

Ask for a quote
  • Makeup, hair and draping by one person, so the timing is one person's problem rather than three
  • Skin prep matched to your skin, not to whichever product a brand paid to place
  • Lashes, and a touch-up kit left with you for the day
  • A written running order for the morning, agreed before the day
  • Travel within Mumbai included; outstation and destination quoted as their own line

The trial

Book the trial before you book the date.

It is not a preview

It is where we find out how your skin behaves under product, how your hair holds, and how long your particular face takes. That number then goes into the running order.

Bring the jewellery

The nath, the maang tikka, the matha patti. Hair is built around a specific piece, and guessing its weight is how a bun fails at hour nine.

Bring a photograph you hate

More useful than one you love. Knowing what you do not want narrows the day faster than a mood board.

Travel

Mumbai as standard. Elsewhere on request.

Travel within Mumbai is included. Outstation and destination weddings are quoted with travel and stay as their own line, so you can see what the wedding costs and what the journey costs.

If you have a date, ask about it even if nothing else is decided. Checking a date costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

Or learn to do it yourself.

Everything on this page is what the academy teaches — the same functions, the same drapes, the same 5am running order. If you are here to learn rather than to book, start with the courses.
